The RADAK HL5+2 ALC 968 Series is a high-performance offensive blade developed around the classic 5+2 inner Arylate-Carbon construction concept made famous by the Hurricane Long 5 / 968 style of blade.
Its 5-ply wood + 2-ply inner Arylate-Carbon structure places the composite layers close to the central core, reinforcing the blade from within while preserving a more natural wood feel at lower impact.
This gives the HL5+2 ALC a very progressive response. On soft touches, the blade remains composed with restrained rebound, making it easier to control serve receive, short pushes and delicate placement. As stroke intensity increases, the reinforced core becomes increasingly active, producing greater speed, stability and power for attacking play.
968 Series Reinforced Core
The 968 Series construction is designed to strengthen the central core and improve energy transfer when the blade is fully engaged.
The inner Arylate-Carbon layers help stabilise the blade under pressure while still allowing the outer wood plies to contribute to touch and dwell. This gives the blade a refined feel in the short game and a much stronger response on full strokes.
