I came accross a sample of the Tulpe Carbon blade. There are no model markings and I should try to put up a pic later. The handle only says Blutenkirsch.
The weight is light to me. (Mid 80s) Can't tell the plies, but looked like fat center core, then carbon, then two thin plies to make a 5+2 blade.
Speed is fast (low to medium side of OFF+) It is not stupid fast. I compare it to Primorac Carbon.
I slapped on some Apollo rubbers from my damaged TBS blade and went to work at a Korean club.
Feel is good. Stiff. Little Vibration. Still enough flex to make loops. Had the same good solid feel as Primorac Carbon.
Power from mid-distance is impressive. BH drives from close to the table are CRISP and fast. Won a lot of points from the pressure I could apply on BH driving. Smashing was solid and direct. I got some points from extra spin on pushes, more than it looked like.
Handle felt thin, but i feel that way about EVERY blade.
VERY LITTLE Ping, unlike Dawei GTS carbon. That blade had a ton of ping.
The blade inspired confidence and i would initially feel almost as good to use this blade in a tourney as much as I trust the TBS. I still haven't found a blade that suits me more than TBS, but I keep my eyes open.
