Haha Speedplay, you KNOW I wasn't serious about that Vodka comment. I knew you would post ASAP seeing that one. My wife uses Vodka and chopped up Ginger root aged in a glass container to make a killer marinade for Korean beef dishes like Bulgogi and Galbi (Short Ribs).

I have just donned a black sheet of it onto my 2nd Gergely with red pips (pogo still) and I have to say I love it.

Yeah.. it's gone quiet on here alright! I've been super busy with the shop lately (Easter & school holidays), so that's my excuse!!

I did stick the hexer+ on my old Petr Korbel Butterfly blade the other day... and I have had one hit with it. Not sure if I like it or not yet... didn't seem a lot different from the Roxon! I'll give it another bash soon and see if it can win me over! At this stage tho, I doubt it!!

I played a pips player at Sunbury vets who gave me stacks of trouble last time I played him... but this time I went for my shots with more confidence and managed to hit him off the table (well.. it was still a 5 setter, but got him 11-3 in the last). So, look out when we have a bash again!!!

Haha! Not all pips players are the same mate!

And my game has lifted again quite a bit since we played. I beat 2 A3 Seniors players last night in the A2 Masters and there was a lot of dropped jaws that couldn't believe I beat one of them in particular. Even I could barely believe it LOL. My game relies so heavily on how my mental state is at the time though lol. I guess I was in a good place last night!!

But bring it on I say! As for the Hexer+, I think there is a slight difference to Roxon, but its not huge, which is probably why I like it so much. Richard is warming to the idea of playing a Vets tourney. He said he'd ask for permission for Bendigo, so might see you there yet.

I got my city tourney this weekend. Coach put me in third div with the sights of me making the final out of a few hundred. I would probaly advance in div 2, but get knocked out somewhere along the way afterwards. Coach needs a "ringer" from our club to mix it up and I guess my number came up.

If I play, Richard will too, and I'll have to beat him to get Div 4, although he usually crumbles under pressure. If he doesn't crumble under pressure you and JT may not be the major obstacles in Div 3

I made it to Semis in Singles and Team events before crashing out. 3rd place in both events. Our club never had anyone get a certificate in that tourney before, so it was OK enough. I went 5-1 in Singles, 3-2 in doubles, and 3-1 in my singles in team events. If this was a USATT tourney, I would have moved up a LOT of rating points.

Seriously, am I the only one here who have never lost to a woman? (In TT that is).

Before any one goes wacky about this, I know there are thousands of women who would beat me with out even breaking a sweet doing it, so I don't pretend to be better then all womans playing the game, but I've not yet encountered one that have beat me.

what rumors ??!!! It was FACT. That joker was WAY too good to play in women's division, even if she gave a 5 point handicap to everyone. That is why she played inmen's division. She went on to win the championship. So far, in almost every Korean tourney, i have lost to the CHAMPION. What a way to go down, eh? Still, that was my breakout tourney. I defeated a LOT of players who would have run over me last year. I suprised a lot of coaches who thought their players would have advanced.

In Korea, there is a shitload of women O2000 USATT. Some of them are USATT 2300 in clubs. Our two women coaches are USATT 2400 for starters. Our club's top player gets a 3-4 point handicap and still loses most of the time.

I take zero offense at the comments. You just haven't run into them yet hanging around those recrational players. :)

I haven't met US military or civilian working in the camps who can even make me sweat hard. That is only, because I have never met them. If my two US friends work in the camps, then it would be a different matter altogether.

If that match was for rating points, I would have lost maybe 4 points max. In the Singles that I played in Team event (went 3-1) I would have lost zero points. That opponent was way over USATT 2400. That dude would have moved Biggie around like he was operating a yo-yo. The other opponents I defeated in Singles (especially that 2200 dude who CHOed at everything) would have given me a huge ratings adjustment and maybe an additional 50-60 points. I went 5-1 in Singles and 3-1 in Team Singles. I can live with an 80% win ratio. That shows I can move out of that division.

The best female player I've played against was rated as level 2 here in Sweden and level 1 in denmark. I think both Sweden and Denmark have an Elite division as well. How ever, at the time I player her, I was in level 5, and I won 3-0. Not sure how she would be Usatt rated, but it should at least provied a rough idea about her level. Of course, she was rated level 1 and 2 in the ladies rating system. Before you sshout that she had a bad days, I did beat her twice, both home and away, so then she must have had at least two bad days

In our city system, it looks like div 1 for teh women tops out around USATT 1700 or 1800. It can get confusing as there are city, regional and national standards. You play a different division depending on the tourney. Our club's No 1 player, who is somewhere around USATT 2300, plays div 3 in the huge Seoul tourneys and div 1 in our city tourneys.

No, you got it all wrong. Those had imbedded vibrators in tehm to let the user know when the product was approaching being full. What you might be talking about were expensive options for wireless connectivity for MP3s into the product.
