you could put a super soft sponge a 1/2inch perimeter all around for serves... then put ur sponge thickness of choice in the middle for shots.. that's genius! :)
LOL, had to read it twice to understand, English isn't my first language but laughed MAO once I got it.
The rule is something about continuous layers or something like that, they way I read it, all it says is that the sponge should act the same all over, meaning it shouldn't perform different around the edges compared to the center. Pretty much the same rule as there is for blades and it's allowed with multiple layers in them.
@Der_Echte, yes, one would think that the major comapines had tried it all, but every now and then a crazy mad man shows up with a unique idea that no one has thought of before. Look at the way Dr Evil was created. Sounds easy enough, but it wasn't a major TT company that invented it. So I think that a sponge with high density close to the blade and low density close to the top sheet (Or reverse it?) could be something useful...
Wtf?!? Why am I posting this here, I should mail the info to BTY, get them to release a new Super Bryce speed touch of Sriver EL speed glue incorporated tensor BIOS rubber, charge tons of cash and give me a small % so I could go to some sunny deserted Island with lots of Aloha girls who thinks that I'm the best thing since sliced bread!
Quick, off to the mailmobil got to earn papa some money
