nice Vid Prior.couple comments you seem to always push his serves to his BH very predictable (his FH is not as consistant). Also his opening loops from his BH are pretty decent but not powerful and you just seem to block them back,I think you should be counterlooping them back and putting him under pressure (maybe sometimes step around them)

nice observation alfie :) yah his BH loop is his main forte.. and i'm trying to practice controlling it (thats why i keep on putting the ball there).. my blocks are still very passive and quite high.. eventually hopefully, they'll get a bit more aggressive.

If you take the ball eariler than you are doing almost off the bounce with a flick of the wrist I feel it will give him less time and you more consistancy,I can tell his BH loop has quite a bit of topspin on it
    Just all imo of course

yah ur totally right.. it's that timing and loose wrist i need to get right.. there's enough topspin in there that i feel my racket push back hard as soon as the ball touches.. and it's different every time.. hence why i want him to attack more ;) but shhhh!! don't tell him that!

Priior, you are so much more on track than I am. You got awareness and direction of what you desire to accomplish and have a facility and a partner willing to help you get there. You will progress and improve at a nice rate. That is ultimately what is needed to get close to where you want, if it isn't a professional international standard that is... Way to go and keep them coming.

Nice video.  I like the pace with which you guys play.  I'm assuming you were doing that to be film accomodating.  I would suggest if you aren't filming to slow this game down a bit.  Not the points, the faster the points are suits you more.  I'm talking about your between points thought process.  I like your reverse pendullum serve very much!  Your readiness for the return off of the reverse pendullum could use some work though.  Your preparation is not as good off of the reverse pendullum than your regular pendullum serve.

thanks der_echte :D

skippy: the in between points was for the film in deed.. we both take a little bit more time in between serves but that would suck when watching after... and you are _totally_ right about being ready after my reverse serves, my regular pebndulum serves usually end up on my backhand, so in my head i have this thing: serve, get ready for backhand push or loop.. with the reverse, the ball lands on my forehand, but in my head it;s still "get ready for backhand push or loop"... ping pong is hard! :-/  ehehehe

*i didnt notice this section i posted another video with my coach kicking my ass.. i look even worse there! ;) and he was going easy on me..*
