Howdy. I got given a new bat last night in return for a few rubbers that I had, and I must say, so far so good.
The blade is a Donic Cayman, which feels considerably stiffer than the Opticon RS, and is definately lighter. It weighed in at 158 with rubbers on it compared to the Opticon at 168. The Cayman seems to have heavier, more dense rubbers on it too, so that'll make the blade even lighter in comparison.
The rubbers are Joola Tango Extrem, not sure if it's 2.0 or 2.2 sponge, and
Palio CJ8000, not sure if it's 2.0 or 2.2 sponge.
Edge tape is Donic 10mm, so I'm a tiny bit hesitant about using it.
The rubbers definately feed harder than my Roxon and Mark V, but this seems to also be because of the stiff blade making it seems harder.
My loops are better with it, it's a bit slower, better control.
So far, so good. I'll keep with it for a while and see how it compares.
