Happy new year to all forum members...hope you all had a good one!
 
Interesting night here, they did the fireworks over the lake around 10pm coz there were big storms approaching... and as luck would have it, an impressive storm hit right on the stroke of midnight!! Fantastic lightning, thunder and torrential rain turned the balmy 30 degree night into a very humid one.. very tropical 
Then, at about 1am the power goes off leaving us without fans/coolers most of the night...and no breeze in the windows! 
Just to complete the story... kids still setting off fireworks in the street at 6am (extremely loud with all the windows open!). I was just glad we had got the rain as my overgrown back yard would have been a fire risk!
Still, a great night was had by all... and one the kids will remember for a long time.

Happy new year everyone. I was out drinking with an Aussie last night, needless to say I drunk him under the table and he's still in bed, whilst i've been out for a 3 mile Jog 100x pressups and a full English breakfast.....

Now if you just said the breakfast I might have believed you...but we all know 3 mile jog and 100 press-ups is beyond you before the nights drinking Biggy LOL. 


As for an Aussie being drank under the table, well, if I was drinking warn English beer I'd be spewing before the first pint went down LOL.
