What does Rob have up his sleeve?
« on: October 21, 2009, 08:20:49 AM »
Rob is closely approaching 1000 posts.

Will he be talking about C grade players or footwork? Ur guess is as good as mine.

Happy posting Rob.

Maybe he'll post about how he filled-in in the NSTTA and demolished some poor guys in the or even better how he surprisingly lost to these amazingly talented players!

The one Amazingly Talented player with 100 year old Sriver, got me, but remember that it was only 3 months after my Full Knee Reco. Anyway I really enjoyed playing there and if was played on any other day except Wednesday, I would still be playing. BTW - the NSTAA is where I first strated playing many many moons ago. I still have my C Grade Trophy's

1 More Post to Go before I hit the Big 1000 posts.  :-X

So Rob, are you going to fill-in this Monday Night in the NSTTA???

U'll get to play against Boyd, you can demolish him, but just let me get to 18.

Hankies are great. Who else uses Hankies.

People who use tissues over hankies should be banished.
I am addicted to edge tape.

Then I should be banished. Hankies are unhygenic.

Better unhygienic than wasteful.
And you just find a different patch on it anyway. Good as new.

Don't quite know how we got onto the topic, but I'l contribute lol. My Mum hated us kids having tissues cos they'd ruin her wash if one got in there. So I grew up with hankies. I see the unhygenic argument to a point, but they're bloody handy to have. Tissues are not always convenient to carry much less dispose of. And of course there is the issue of environmental impact. After having been in the engineering section of a Naval ship and having no hanky or tissue available and had to use a greasy rag, hankies don't seem quite so bad any more lol. Besides, a clean hanky was a great thing to have at school when I was a kid and I'd fall and skin my knees LOL. And there's nothing worse than listening to a snotty kid breathe (not mine lol) who has not been allowed by their mother to have a hanky, but she also forgot to put any tissues in the kids pockets.

wow, a hanky thread!   This forum has everything!! lol

I use both! Hankies are very handy when out bush digging through 100 year old rubbish in search of antique bottles (another passion!) and you slice your finger open on broken glass!
But tissues are the go when you have a cold and the nose keeps running!
