You're going to have to visit me in Korea.  I just got here and will be here a few years. One of the guys I met in Iraq, Nathan, might have played in a tourney you might have gone to. You probably go to the same tourneys as Cole.

You know I haven't played a single tournament just yet, but these guys in Wichita won't stop till I play in tourneys I would guess.  They all like to play a decent number of tourneys, and I'm starting to think it would be pretty fun to check them out.  I play a decent level, but man when you don't play for over a year you get awefully rusty.  My serves were just horrible bad.  I can't control them at all.  Either they are too high, too deep, or not in at all.  It's been a hard go at the serving thing thus far.  Well, you should be able to get a decent game of table tennis in Korea.  There's some pretty solid players, and if you can't find them give Seung Jun Ill (spelling) a call that way not only will you be playing table tennis, but you'll be keeping your eye on that dude.

Haha Skippy, I don't think it is so bad for you as think it is. 15 months in Iraq with very little quality practice didn't exactly make me a world top 100. You are already good and stand to make it better in your situation. I just got here and where I stay isn't along major train lines. Taking a couple busses to the train line is about 30 minutes and another 45 to Seoul. I have a few ideas of some TT clubs to check out here locally about a 30 minute walk away, but I can't check them out until this important Korean Thanksgiving weekend is over. Korea looks like a mass exodus. Every citizen is practically required to travel to their ancesters' homes and with 30 plus million all moving at the same time, it gets worse than southern California traffic.

Welcome back Skippy.

Don't worry about the lay off. The rustiness will wear off, after a while and enter the tournaments, because it would be a good way to challenge yourself and have some fun at the same time.
