Improving Your Technique
« on: September 15, 2009, 12:46:50 PM »
Do you think it matters what equipment you use to become better, and make your technique better?
I took my Donic rubber off and put on Milkyway Mercury as they are both not too soft, and not too hard, and I want to get my technique better with cheaper rubbers.
I am addicted to edge tape.

Been playing for: 10 months (7 at a club)
Blade: Donic Opticon RS
FH: Andro Roxon 450 (2.0)
BH: Yasaka Mark V (1.5)

No, I don't think it matters, as long as you use equipment that is suited to your style and level. A beginner probably shouldn't pick up a Joola MC-1 with maximum thickness Donic Platin as this will be very hard to learn how to play with. Unfortunately, it is mistakes similar to this that a lot of beginners make. I my self should praise my lucky star that I couldn't afford the extreme equipment when I begun to play, cause I truly wanted it, simple thinking that faster, spinnier and more expensive equalled to better. Now, I know better.

And yes, I do love the Wavestone blade(s) =) (And almost 10 sheets of Nittaku Best Anti!)
