Donic Applegren Allplay Series
« on: May 04, 2009, 10:23:40 PM »
I recently had a chance to have a hit with my mates Donic Applegren Allplay (FH - T25, BH - Roxxon 450) and found it to be one of the best feeling blades I have ever used. The control was simply amazing even though I found it to be lacking speed in the loops and drives, I am sure with more training I could overcome that.

My question is - what are the real differences between the original Applegren Allplay V1 and V2?

Any particular characteristics that I should note?
BTY Jun Mizutani |FH - Haifu Blue Whale II MAX|BH - Xiom Zeta (Asian) 2mm
BTY Maze | FH - |FH - Haifu Blue Whale II MAX BH - Xiom Zeta (Asian) 2mm

Arriving shortly - BTY Timo Boll ZLC.

The Senso V1 is definitely faster than the other two and probably the one I would choose. It's a better choice for someone used to faster blades like the Michael Maze.

The Senso V2 has the best control and the standard blade has a solid handle, which gives it the best overall balance.

The good news is all 3 are very good blades

p.s. I personally prefer the straight and anatomical handles on Donic blades, but you might feel differently.
