Andro has just informed me that they will be releasing a few new Rubbers

Andro Hexer - (Inverted)

Andro Roxon 330 - (Inverted)

Andro Revo Fire - (inverted)

Andro Blowfish + (Short Pips)

Andro Blowfish (Short Pips)

Andro Chaos - (Long Pips)

I particularly like the packaging on the Blowfish Rubber

How does this look.

It even makes my eyesight strange - hope it has a strange, chaotic effect.

And yes, as soon as they are released, we will have them.

I really like the artwork done on Revofire (in terms of awesomeness). Looks like butterfly-esque work.

And the cutest packaging goes to the blowfish. Just makes you go "awww..." ahaha ;D

I agree Gek, the blowfish packaging reminds me of "Finding Nemo" LOL. I hope it performs as well as Nemo did at the box office.

I wonder how the Hexer and RevoFire will compare with Roxon.

General delivery situation with new rubbers: These dates are German Based so expect at least a 4 week delay for the goods to Arrive in Australia.

ROXON 330 completely on stock.
BLOWFISH (short pimples out) on stock beginning of July
CHAOS (long pimples) on stock end of next week
REVO FIRE completely on stock
HEXER (new top developed rubber) on stock end of August

I Myself cant wait to Test the Blowfish - best packaging ever - might even turn to the Dark Side >:D

I used it the same night I received the rubbers. Red 2.1mm & Black 1.9mm
I can understand why Andro calls it Magic. Although it did not suit my Backhand with the new andro Zylon/Hinoki. I will try it on my Supercore Cell OFF Blade.

The reason why I say Magic is because it has an extremely soft Feel, yet extremely grippy. The control of this rubber is extraordinary compared to other tensor rubbers on the market.
If you want a superfast rubber then Hexer is not for you. F you want a rubber that generates lots of spin, has fantastic control with a soft feel, then this may be something worth trying.

Hey Rob, could you do a quick comparison to the Impuls Speed? Because I've come to love the control and sound of it, and its huge margin of error, however I would like it to have a bit more spin (it's got a lot on loops, but not much on serves).

Garek, the Hexer feels completely differant to Impuls Speed. It feels slower than Impuls Speed but its not. It has a very grippy topsheet, 100% natural rubber. The impuls speed in my mind did not generate spin anywhere near as well as the Roxon Series. Hexer seems to be suited to those that want to loop, loop & More Loop.

Hexer is Slower, softer feel but not softer sponge. Grippier topsheet. I would have to say, the most controllable Tensor to date when taking into account it's speed.
It's not slow, but you can't call it fast either.
I will apply it to my regular blade and give you a comparison soon.

Looking forward to your comparison Rob. Although I love the 450 on my FH atm, Hexer sounds temping when you say it's grippier than 450 as long as it's not too much slower.

Oritey - my Hexer arrived in the mail (thanks Rob :))

I still heavily favour a chinese style rubber for my FH so I'll be testing my Hexer on my BH 2nite. I've cracked it open so have a look and the first thing I can see is that the topsheet looks very very grippy. It certainly looks like it will have much more spin than RoXXon. The pip structure is interesting - it looks very similar to Tenergy 64 - small and quite widely spaced apart. This tells me immediately that it will have really good lift on loops which is extremely encouraging.

The sponge - now believe me this is the first time I have ever seen a sponge that looks like a sponge. Honestly - it almost looks like a household sponge!! Air holes everywhere!!

Hardness - it certainly feels harder than RoXXon 450 but not as hard as 500 Pro. My guess is that the reason it has a softer feel is due to the pip spaced out pip structure.

I'll be having a good proper whack with this 2nite and I'll write up a review (hopefully with some pics) for you guy shortly :)

I switched from the Roxon 450 1.8mm on my forhand to Roxon 330 Max a couple of months ago. The Roxon 330 is still a little slower in max form than my Roxon 450 1.8mm was. Its loud, but not overly. I have a few Veterans than think I'm speed gluing cause of the clicking sound - they wont let up.

Spin, well this is another matter. With the Roxon 330, I get more dwell time - therefore more spin. I can literally loop the ball anywhere compared to the Roxon 450, and its more forgiving & a better blocking rubber which surprised me completely.

I still believe that Andro needs one more rubber between the Roxon 330 & Roxon 450. Then their Roxon Range would be Complete.

Given my love of R450 2mm, that 330 sounds interesting Rob! I had thought it would be just too soft as R450 is pretty soft IMO. Maybe it'll be worth a try sometime, but Im still going great guns with the same R450 sheet I started with about 10 months ago. Hasn't made me feel tempted to replace it yet!!

I've finally had a hit with the Roxon 330, and I must admit I was positively surprised by it. I was sure that it would be way to soft and slow for my likings and that it would bottom out as soon as the power strokes came in to play.

Well, I didn't notice it bottoming out at all, which surprised me. Further on, even though it was slower then 450, it certainly wasn't as slow as I expected and the catapult effect on this one was HUGE! Felt as if I was able to launch light speed strokes with good control.

Spin, actually really good, even though it felt as if the top gear was missing. It was certainly easy to generate spin with it, but still felt it was a little less spin on the full blown strokes compared to Roxon 450 and 500.

So, a pleasant surprise, even though I still maintain that the Roxon 500 pro is the best rubber in the Roxon series and one I might turn back to once I'm out of T 05's.

Not Sure, Roxon 330 is a very popular selling Rubber - Whether it suits your
style is another story,

I would have thought that
Hexer Power Sponge

or Hexer Duro would be more of an Upgrade.

Duro is really good for smashing & Driving with only a Medium throw. Great for
Backhand Punching.

Richard uses the Hexer PS for his "not so slow" spinny loops Chris, but it works well for slow spinny ones too lol. I have a sheet which I have yet to put on cos my R450 sheet refuses to die LOL. I have a sheet of R330 on my back-up bat. Shame you didnt ask this question pre-Xmas, you could have tried it! I don't like it as much as the R450, it lacks some of the punch and is a bit too soft, almost but not quite to the mushy feel. Its a blocking machine though, I give it that.
