Rob, I ought kick your Bu**!

Rob, now look what you have done!
Everybody knows that I have a wife in my Joola Cat blade and a mistress in the Wavestone. Its not perfect but its working for me. I have just now managed to get the two blades to get along and accept each other, no more fighting in the bat-case.
Then you send me the Dawei Whizz, which I expected to be a one-night stand for fun. Turned out I'm falling head over heals for this beauty, considering leaving my wife (Which I have many cute baby-victories with) and cancel my meetings with the mistress as I do not want to cheat on this newly found love of mine.
And it's all your fault, breaking up a happy family like that with your competition gifts! I do hope you are satisfied with your self and that you sleep well at nights, cause I don't do it any longer. I can stay awake for hours, dreaming about what clothes I will buy for my newly found beauty. Would she still look good with TSP_Curl P1 and Juic 999 Elite Nano? Or is it her fancy Juic Neoanti dress along with that Globe 999 that I'm attracted to? What would she think of trying out the Blutenkirsche 868?
While I'm dreaming of all this, I can here my Cat blade cry and wondering why I'm no longer interested in playing with her. The Wavestone reacts different, she is not at all pleased with the arrival of this newly found competitor of hers, but instead of crying she's getting angry and refuse to play. Not that I'm really interested in playing with her at the moment, but when I try she always makes a big deal of it and refuse to co-operate.
Whats even worse, I've ordered one of those mail-order blades, something to fool around with, and I was really eagerly anticipating her arrival before, but now... Well, I probably have to pick her up when she arrives, but she might get major disappointed when she finds out that she's been replaced before she arrived. Poor Donic Cayman, making this long journey to end up in a closet with no friends...
So Rob, was this what you wanted, was this your intention? I ought to go to the land down under, bringing all of my blades so you could explain why you did this, cause they are all sad and pi**ed at me, but I refuse to take any blame for this, this is all your fault!

Speedplay you are so funny, one thounsand comedians out of work and you what to become one. :D
In fact I have though many a times to cut a Whizz down to the andro head size and give it a go, it looks like a very well constructed blade.
As for the Donic Cayman, I'm not quite sure you will like it. I have spoken to may people that have used it, and they are all undecided.

Well, if Whizz is a man, then its true that Gay still means happy
It's simply a lovely blade with heaps of control from all distances.
Not sure how I will like the Cayman, but its supposed to work great with long pips as the outer layer is hard so it increase the reversal. From what I understand this should be a faster, bigger version of the cat, so I might like it a lot, but I'm not sure... Will wait and see, will post my feelings about this mail-order blade once I've played with it.

About the Cayman... I LOVE IT!
I got a special selected light way sample of this, only 50g and the feeling is great! I must say, at first I was kind of disappointed since I expected this to be over sized so that I could use the same rubber for this and the Whizz, but it wasn't. At least, it wasn't as much over sized as the Whizz.
The Cayman reminds me a lot about my Joola Cat, but it's lighter, a tad bigger head, better speed when called upon and better spin ability. The downside is, I feel that it does less for the reversal then my Cat does, but I guess there has to be a trade off.
So now I have got even more problems selecting my primary outfit... I will use the Cat with the SB for my matches as long as the SB is legal, but then I really don't know. The over sized Whizz feels great and so does the Cayman. Not to forget, I still love the feeling I get when I play the Wavestone, but at the moment, the Wavestone is out of the competition as I feel its a little to fast to use along with pips.
How ever, I anticipate loads of fun when trying the blades out more thoroughly and deciding on which I should use as my primary blade. The only trouble I see with this is the huge difference in weight between the two blades as mixing them up in practice might give me some inconsistency problems...

Sorry to revive this OLD topic, but I need it to prove a point:
This is what happens when you review stuff in the heat of the moment, when the joy of new equipment is there and makes all the flaws minor ones that can be corrected.
Now, look at the blades I mention here and my view on them. Wow, didn't even know I ever felt like this about them!
Let's begin with the Whizz, despite the love I express for it here, it never grew on to become my primary blade. Sure, I did love it for the pips side, but the inverted side was horrible for anything else but flat hitting. Still have the blade and still bring it out on rare occasions, but only to chop with the pips. So much for that love story.
Now, on to the Cayman, a blade I really don't like, and to be honest, I thought this was expressed from me from the very first try, but obviously not. The Cayman is TO SLOW for my liking, it has zero speed to offer from behind the table and the light weight on it makes it feel unstable in the hand.
How ever, the Joola Cat blade is still a blade I love and according to me, the best blade to use with pips.
Now, as for the Wavestone, I don't think I even need to mention how I feel about this??? Now, I have played with this for roughly 2 years, being the primary set up for at least one year and I still love it, hopefully, this won't change.
