Der_Echte's first practice with Quattro and Venus

I just got in my equipment today. I glued and trimmed red Venus 2.2 35-38 degree and black Quattro 2.2 35 degree. The post rec center leaves a lot to be desired for TT conditions, but it is all I got in this area, so it will have to do. I had to practice alone. there is not anyone in this are that plays TT, but one who has been unwilling to come out. Here are 4 vids. One each FH and BH from using Quattro and Venus. I was more consistant with the Venus when i geared it down a notch, but could really go for it with the quattro. I am only intermediate level and do not expect to land every shot, so the practice and future partnes will help me out.

Yeah, it's really hard to find players to play with in the states.  I don't have as hard of a time to find peeps to play with as you do, but I certainly identify and feel for you Der.

I'm spoiled when it comes to having people to play with, unfortunately, I'm being limited by the amount of tables. We only have 5 tables at the club and they are occupied almost all of the time. Since it looks like are club recently has begun to grow (rapidly, I might add) in members, there are some discussion about moving to a bigger venue and hopefully getting more tables, but all that is in the future.

I had my first practice matches with the new outfit from Affordable TT with my Texas LP friends. I played better than last week (I think I play better with this outfit), but I am still so far off. I got a pile of vids and it will take a while to edit/encode them all, so more to follow. overall, i really like this outfit and feel confident hitting with it. I simply need to be more fundementally sound and not so reluctant/clueless to attack, especially after I hit a good loop.
