I've been reading the review on these new tensors and have tried Platin; my experience with Platin has brought questions to mind.  Really appreciated your effort, ckhugo, thank you!

Did anyone find the Platin needed a break in period?  How about for the Roxon?

At first I noticed the ball slipping on the Platin while doing top spins and the speed was not so great either.  I thought I would try it on different blades to see if the performance would improve.  It did, but it wasn't the blade that made the difference, but the usage (break-in)

Platin is one sweet rubber in my opinion.

The Biggest problem I see with people using these new Tensors is that they try and brush loop the ball, and when the contact is tooooo fine, the balls drops. I myself used to do it, although Practice would make sure that my contact was pretty fine. I'm now Sponging the ball more and find that the rubbers perform much better. The Roxon 450 in my mind felt better that both the Platin & Platin Soft.

Yes, I think that most of these new Tensors require the person using them to adjust stroke accordingly. They are all for sure faster than any Chinese rubber on the market - leaving little room for error to the inexperienced players.

Finally got some Roxon 450.
Maybe the best of the new sheets, I've tried most of them except Tibhar.
Strong speed and spin, the feedback seems to inform you what the throw angle will be making it easy to adjust to the sheet.
Impressive!

Which of these rubbers would you consider as an option on blades like the Clipper Wood, Persson Powerplay Senso V1 and Wavestone?

And why?

No, but i have used some tensors.

Scramble 21, a 1st generation tensor that was very good for looping 3 ft off the table, but had a poor short game performance.

Desto F3, fine for looping but less stable when smashing or flat hitting. Better off on a stiffer blade than on a more flexible blade, as I found i lacked consistency in smashes. Mind you that was 3 years ago and I'm playing at a higher standard now.

Plasma 470 which I thought was really good on the Galaxy M6 and Michael Maze, once I adjusted my forehand loop to prevent the ball sliding off the rubber when brush looping; but didn't fair so well with on other blades like the Mazunov and Wavestone.

J O Silver which I found I had to adjust my strokes to get the spin i was looking for consistent looping. A good rubber

Rapid D Tecs which I rated as a good match for the Dima Sawtec. Good spin and good for looping.

Impuls Speed - faster than i expected it to be on an Applegren Senso V2, but an interesting rubber all the same. Terri one of the local coaches used my 1979 Allround wood with 2mm Xtend, whilst I tried her bat. Afterwards, she asked me where she could Xtend from because she found it easier to control than Impuls Speed.

Peter The Impuls Speed is quite a fast rubber compared to the old generation style rubbers. If Fact I would say that Impuls Speed is Faster than Most Chinese Rubbers. Takes a bit getting used to.

I noticed with Impuls Speed I had to hit through the ball to get the spin; as brush looping was less effective.

Peter,

I'm using the Donic Platin on the Wavestone and it is a wonderful combination as the hard sponge helps creating a linear speed with the blade. On touch shots, both the blade and the rubber acts slow and controlled, but the more power you put in, the more you get out, from both blade and rubber.

How ever, to loop with this set up, you got to be prepared to work the sponge really good. If you like to loop more on touch and brush kind of style, then I believe Roxon 450 is better.
Dawei Wavestone Red Tenergy 05/Black Best Anti
Dawei Wavestone Red Roxon 450/Black Best Anti
Dawei Wavestone  Red Roxon 450/Black Best  Anti

And yes, I do love the Wavestone blade(s) =) (And almost 10 sheets of Nittaku Best Anti!)

I tried Roxon 450 1.8ml on Andro KINETIC C/F light off blade. My first impression was, wow not bad. I found the spin very good, speed good, but control of service return and pushing was hard.

On my other bat, I have JO silver max on Butterfly Cofferlait blade. I find this faster, not as much spin but more control on blocking pushing and faster for counter hitting and fast looping.

Yes the Roxon is heaps better for brush looping and flicking backhand top spin. I find that i can play well with Roxon if I attack and hit heaps of loops, more of a fast brush loop style. ??
