I agree Skippy, no one touches Der_Echtes avatar, I don't even like looking on it, even less so touch it. An embarrassment to the forum! Would it be so hard for him to get a decent club to root for?

On the other hand, yours isn't much better, some virtually unknown brand named blade. If the shame becomes to big to handle, you can send the blade to me, I could always fool around with it.

My avatar on the other hand, thats a classy avatar, subtle yet distinct!

Damn Slippery, there's no getting anything past you. I am in awe. I was trying to pass it off as a TT player trophy with a pocket watch sitting at the bottom that says "Dad", which was my Father's. I sort of did it as a bit of a tribute to him, but I thought I'd get away with using other items and fool you!! Looks like I'm better at TT than trick photography :roll:

Well, I won my first medal today, obviously it was the gold medal. Anyone car to take a guess why I won it? I'll give you a hint, it's TT related and those of you who has been around for sometime might find it easier to guess if I tell you that I got it from our teams coach.

You are both wrong, and Priior... Tounge work to my MALE coach? Yikes, that's not something I like to even think about! Beating him and constantly reminding him about it, should be enough to make sure that I'm not an A**kisser, don't you think?

The truth is, I got it due to my switch of equipment, from frictionless to grippy Lp's. Doesn't matter to me that it was an old medal, supposed to be handed out 2003 to some like boy at the age of 9, I got it and now I finally have one TT-medal to brag about :lol:

Mind you it'd be nice if I could remind everyone now and then that I have a Premiers trophy. Perhaps I should make it clearer on my Avatar. But that might be like bragging might'n it. And as I said you don't see me bragging that I have a Premiers trophy or other TT trophies as well from my younger days. So just settle down there Slippery. I used to have a clear-out every couple of years and throw them in the bin. Now I just don't bother entering the local league tournament anymore and don't travel to many other tournaments. The only two trophies I have now are my junior school chess championship trophy and my middle school conker championship trophy.

Now, it looks like I've had my 15 minutes of fame, climbing to top 4 in the leagues rating. From now on it will only be downhill since I got to learn how to handle my new rubber before I can start to climb again. When and if I do, I will make sure to tell you all about it :shock:

Now Slippery I am glad you have been modest like me in not telling about your trophies. If you had done I might be impressed by the wrestling ones especially. If I knew about your Adidas sponsorship I might be very impressed. But as you don't tell I have to stay none the wiser about it. I also won't tell about the squash trophies I have, or any of the golf trophies and I certainly won't tell about the tennis premiership I captained my team to when I was 18. I certainly won't be telling you anytime about the pewter mug I won when I broke my golf handicap from 10 to 8 in one round either. Its just not the done thing to brag about any of this stuff so I will be keeping it all under wraps, ok.
And Rob I could take the pic but wouldn't that constitute bragging? Well I suppose seeings as I haven't mentioned any of this stuff to anyone I guess it would be ok. I will work on that for you. To post a pic will it upload directly on here or does it need to link to an URL? If so, I have nowhere to host it. What a shame. LOL

Glad we agreed on being humble Reb, otherwise, your single Hcp in golf would have impressed me heaps! I'm happy if I can score a single digit number on each and everyone of the holes on the course, but sadly so, I fail with this about half the time

Yeah Slippery I know how it feels to play golf and hit double figures too, but I think I would walk off after about 4 holes if I did it every second hole LOL. I hit single figures in my mid 20's just after finishing uni (and if I wasn't being modest I'd tell you I hit a 76 followed by a 75 the week after on my 70 par course which dropped me from 12 to 8 in 2 weeks) and then started a new job and had to relinquish the amount I could play. Eventually I dropped my golf membership and had no handicap. I came back at it a few years ago but still not playing heaps and got back down to 16. I also won't tell you that my first year back I played pennant and we won the flag, then the year after we made the final but lost it for the back to back.
