Giving it a shot

I have decided to get back into training as I have found recently that a lot of the top players in Victoria are still struggling to get a convincing win against me.

I have been training for the past 3 weeks(a bit slack, but training none the less) and have taken part in the HWATT Christmas Pennant.

In the first week I won all 3 matches
- Simon Gerada (won in 5)
- Eugene Lim, around 1600 points on our system
- Some other guy with 1500 points.

and in the second week I lost 3(sigh)
- Simon Gerada (lost in 3)
- David Powell (lost in 3)
- Dennis Mackling (lost in 5)

Dennis although he doesn't train, managed to beat David Powell that night.

Ill hopefully be able to step it up in the next few months and start beating most of these guys consistently. And provide the forum with some entertaining matches, lols.(none of these matches are on tape><)

Keep at it mate. Wiggy sez that if it wasn't on video, it didn't happen. Or waz it another one who said that? Hehe. You seem to be doing quite well for just playing around and beginning to get serious.

Nah he's been serious before. He just lost heavy interest for a while. He'll get serious again. PocketRocket would be 2500-2600 USATT Der.

Hey man great to hear you're back in the game haha, it took me a long while to get back into things after I picked up tennis haha. Will hit up when I'm in Melbourne again if you're ever keen mate!

So its been a few weeks of tough training(well 1 week of tough training and 2 weeks of holidays).

Played some matches on Wednesday and managed the following results.

Beat Dennis Mackling 11-9 in the 5th,
Beat some Korean Junior 11-9 in the 5th.

The junior was quite strong probably around 15-17 years old, he beat dennis 3-0.

Cant remember the name, but he has been training with HWATT the past few weeks, rob may know of him?
